Raise your hand if you'd like to know how to iron clothes.
How about men's shirts?
Well ironing a shirt is simple, but not easy to master. Let me give you an outline how we do it at Silus:
1) Iron the collar first.
2) Iron the back panel.
3) Straighten out the sleeves, then iron the cuffs. Do not press on the top and bottom part parts of the cuffs together, you'd ruin the cuffs by making two straight lines along the cuffs. Iron out the innerside of the cuff, then the outside.
4) Iron out both sides of the sleeves.
5) Now move to the body of the shirt, ironing out each of the three sides in one smooth move.
6) Look out for any areas which weren't properly finished.
7) Hang quickly to make sure it is not crumpled.
There you go. Try this method, it may be easier for you. Thanks for reading.

Lifetime of a Garment
Dear Readers,
Have you ever noticed that your white shirts turn yellowish about 6 months after usage, or your nice blue blouse de-colouring?
Have you ever wondered how you can maintain the original state of your clothes for a long time?
Let me tell you a truth.
Clothes de-colour, clothes degenerate over time - especially with multiple use. Face this fact.
A shirt may only hold its colour after 50 times of washing - and after that you may have to donate it or throw it away. There are ways to maintain the shape, the structure and the colour of a garment, but we all have to accept the fact that like everything in this world, it has its own lifetime.
Don't fret if your expensive Armanis degenerate. We all have good memories of things we own - clothing is the same.
The best tip to maintain the state of your clothes? Make sure you know how to clean your clothes properly. Read this blog frequently, we'll share our secrets with you, and it's all for free.
If you don't know how to clean your clothes, send them to a professional dry cleaner. Chances are they are trained and have seen more clothes than a normal person has - which means non of that big mistakes that amateurs do when they clean their clothes. They are better equipped, and have all the tools at their disposal to serve you the best they can.
